Government gives 600 million incentives to tourism companies
From today there is a great opportunity for the world of tourism businesses.
As part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), the Ministry of Tourism has allocated 600 million euros of incentives to support the redevelopment of structures in the tourism sector.
Applications must be submitted from 28 February to 30 March 2022.
The incentives shall include:
- a tax credit of up to 80% of the expenses incurred for the interventions carried out from 7 November 2021 to 31 December 2024, as well as for those planned after 1 February 2020 and not yet concluded, provided that the related expenses were incurred from 7 November 2021;
- a non-repayable contribution not exceeding 50% of the expenditure incurred (max 40 thousand euro) for the interventions carried out from 7 November 2021 to 31 December 2024.
The incentives, as mentioned, are directed to the supply chain of the holiday and then hotels, farmhouses, businesses in the tourism, recreational, fair and congress, including bathing establishments and spas, marinas and theme parks.
The issue of digitisation is a valuable opportunity for tourism companies that, from today, can buy with grants tools to improve the efficiency of their companies.
