How do I install and configure ScanFACE V2?

ScanFACE® can be installed using the tubular support, ideal for

• Turnstiles
• Gates
• Stands

To meet different types of use, it can be configured to check only temperature and mask presence, or facial recognition can also be enabled, for example in workplaces, to protect staff.

What type of checks can I perform?

It is possible to choose different access control modes:

• User recognition with QR CODE for Restricted Access through the VISITAINCLOUD service
• Operation as an Attendance Detection system with Time Studio in Cloud — Not yet available
• User facial recognition for restricted access — GDPR compliant
• Face mask detection
• Temperature detection

These modes can be selected individually or in combination.

What can be done with the CMS9110 Software?

iAccess® CMS9110 is a centralised management software for iAccess ScanFACE thermoscanners and is provided free of charge.

Thanks to the software, it is possible to:

• Monitor multiple ScanFACE® Thermoscanners and ScanVISION® Thermal Cameras
• Detect temperature
• Live previews
• Device management
• Records of detected temperatures
• People management

FAQ ?

Is it normal for the temperature detected by my thermoscanner to vary depending on the outside temperature?

• If the person being measured comes from outside, then it is normal for their skin temperature to be influenced, either higher or lower, by the outdoor climate.

• Here is what the TRECCANI Encyclopedia says about this: “Body temperature is not uniform throughout the body: not only is there a difference between skin temperature — external temperature — and the temperature of internal organs — internal or core temperature — but regional differences are also observed in the various areas: axillary skin temperature in a healthy person under basal conditions is about 36.5 °C, while inguinal temperature is a few tenths higher; oral temperature is about 36.7 °C; rectal temperature is 37 °C; variations of 0.5 °C are considered normal under basal conditions. After physical exertion, smoking or eating, variations greater than 0.5 °C may be observed.
  
  There are also physiological variations over the course of 24 hours, with an increase in the evening hours and a decrease in the early morning hours, with an overall fluctuation that may even exceed 1 °C. Other variations are linked to the functional state of the body, especially in relation to muscular work and, in the particular case of women, to the ovulation phase, during which a slight increase is observed.
